Born in Santarém, Brazil, the soprano Ana Carolina Coutinho started at a young age in the music field. She studied violin and lyrical singing at the São Paulo Municipal School of Music, city where she finished her bachelor in singing and started her first appearances on opera stage. In Germany, even before the title of “Konzertexamen“ by the „Hochschule für Musik und Theater Hamburg“, she was one of the winners of the “Mozart Absalom Stiftung” competition in Hamburg and the “DAAD Preis”.

She has performed at several international festivals such as the "Chorakademie Lübeck", the "Schleswig Holstein Musik Festival" and is Alumna from the “LIEDBasel” and the „Lied Academy“ fro the festival “Heidelberger Frühling”.

Since 2021 Ana Carolina has been a stable member of the Theater Koblenz, Germany, where she made her professional debut as „Papagena“ in the production from Mascha Pörzgen. In the 2023 season at Theatro São Pedro she made her brazilian debut as “Blondchen” in the opera “Die Entführung aus dem Serail“ where she stood out for her “golden timbre” and “homogeneous” tone.

In addition to working on the opera and concert stage she works intensively with research and performance of the chamber repertoire, having a stable song duo with the pianist Megumi Kuroda (Duo Botan) and the guitarist Pablo Villafuerte (Duo Sabiar).
